Hurricane Milton, yet another major hurricane to hit Florida, came into the Florida west coast near Sarasota on October 9-10. Milton made landfall as a major category-three hurricane with 120 MPH winds and a minimum central pressure of 952 mb. This is the fourth hurricane (and third major hurricane) to hit this area in just over a year.
